Why Asus Net Book are so popular in 2009’s consumer market?

netbooks are scaled down in functions and computing power for the sole purpose of surfing the net, checking email, and listening to music, viewing your favourite YouTube videos, or IM and video chat.

Netbooks have madeheadlines since their 2007 launch, making PCs accessible to millions ofnon-traditional users. Netbooks are certainly not for everyone, but for someone who understand what they excel it, netbooks are great. Netbooks strike me as a new class of device because they hit this interesting combination of usability (8-10〃 screens wide enough for the web, good-enough keyboard size, easily portable), features (wifi, flash support, longer battery life), power (Intel’s Atom CPU, enough RAM, enough local storage), with a compelling price point. Netbooks are good alternative if you want to get cheap pc. Netbooks are now the fastest growing segment of the PC market as others have jumped on the bandwagon and shipments are expected to double this year but Asus is still out in front and if this Android Netbook gets off the ground, it doesn’t look as if that will change any time soon.

Asus is undeniably still the market leader for Netbooks despite fierce competition from Acer. Asus specifically promotes the use of Windows XP Home with all of these machines, and it looks like they’d all run Vista as well, though perhaps without all the visual bells and whistles.

The netbook market — small, relatively inexpensive PCs — is exploding. Intel Atom has dominated the netbook market and VIA is just getting some traction. Since mass production of the netbooks would be possible between three to nine months, they think that a mass-market netbook will be in the shops late 2009 or 2010. If Google does pull its finger out there is no doubt it will be a welcome player in the netbook world, but it is likely to face all the problems that both Linux and Microsoft face in that market place. I hope Apple gets something like this to market, the education and eLearning markets will be the leaders in returning the company to the corporate sector.

You wouldn’t buy these machines to run Photoshop, edit high-definition videos, or play 3D games, but for most simpler purposes, they’d be fine. If they were selling the eeePC 1000 for $300 I would strongly consider buying one. Iv’e been eagger to buy a “umpc” since this came out like 2+ years ago. For example, you could buy a cheap desktop plus a netbook and wind up with a main system that is more powerful than nearly any laptop plus a portable computer that is lighter than nearly any laptop.

While the drive capacity maybe a bit less but it is a worthwhile feature as it has less moving part leading to lesser chance of breakdown)Don’t expect a Netbook to come with a CD/DVD as Netbook is not meant to replace your laptop. A netbook is supposed to be practical but not useless. Yes a netbook is for doing the minimum things that one needs while on the road. In a sense, saying that the netbook is slow and too small when compared to a regular notebook is true but for their use I would say that they’re OK machines.

If you are shopping for netbook, make sure you visit netbook auctions Website, where you will have a variety of choice of popular netbook models currently selling on the market. I’m sure you will find some good netbook models and accesories that suit your needs.
